Kim Kardashian and her siblings have found themselves in controversy after an old lawsuit resurfaced on social media after years.
For the unversed, in 2008 popular rapper Brandy's mother Sonja Norwood accused the Kardashian sisters of stealing millions of dollars from her daughter.
According to People, Sonja sued the Skims founder, along with her siblings Khloé, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian.
At that time, the 74-year-old singer sought more than $120,000 from the Kardashian clan, along with an additional 10% interest, claiming they had stolen money from her daughter.
In the lawsuit, Sonja alleged that Kim had committed fraud, as she was authorised by the Norwood family to make a single transaction using their official credit card.
Sonja claimed that the mother-of-four was permitted to make that one purchase due to her role as Brandy's stylist.
However, Kim and the other four Kardashians' ended up spending a total of $120,636 on the credit card that Brandy's family was responsible for.
Earlier this year, Sonja’s statement reportedly indicated that the case was dismissed at the requests of her children Ray J and Brandy.
It is important to note that when the lawsuit was filed, Ray J and Kim were in a romantic relationship that began in 2003 and ended in 2006 due to irreconcilable differences.
