Kevin and Danielle Jonas’s love remains stronger than ever, even after 15 years of marriage.
In conversation with People, the musician revealed that a key to their successful relationship is communication.
"It's about communication," he explained.
"If you really come down to it, and we are good and bad at it, we're still learning about each other. 15 years, you change, right?"
Danielle added that a willingness to make the marriage work is equally important.
The 38-year-old went on to share that when the 37-year-old singer is away, she would try to make a point of how much she hates being far away from her partner.
"When he's away, I tell him, 'I hate that I still love you this much,'" she shared.
Kevin confirmed this as true, adding, "And she actually gets mad at me when I come home because I travel as much as I do, and I come home for a day."
"When he's away, I tell him, 'I hate that I still love you this much,'" she shared.
"I'll fly in the morning and fly out that night just to see the kids and see her. And she's like, 'This is worse because you've come in, and you've interrupted the entire thing. Now, I have to get used to you being gone and miss you again,'" he continued.
The Jonas Brother member disclosed that his wife requested him to not come home until his trip was over but jokingly admitted that he would never adhere to the request.
Since their wedding on December 19, 2009, the couple has shared a deep bond and now raises two daughters, 10-year-old Alena Rose and 8-year-old Valentina Angelina. Despite their busy lives, the 38-year-old mother expressed that their love hasn’t faded over the years.
