Security Minister Tom Tugendhat has launched a blistering critique of Prince Andrew, branding him a "very, very unwise individual" during a recent interview with GB News.
Tugendhat’s remarks came as questions swirl around the Duke of York's alleged ties to H6, an individual suspected of being a 'Chinese spy.'
The minister reassured the public that Prince Andrew no longer has access to any sensitive information or matters of national importance, a point he emphasized strongly in light of the scandal.
In response to the controversy, the Duke’s office has issued a rare statement addressing the claims.
"The Duke of York followed advice from HMG and ceased all contact with the individual after concerns were raised," the statement read, signaling Andrew’s first direct comments since the allegations emerged.
The revelations have further spotlighted the Duke's conduct, sparking renewed debate over his role within the royal family.
