Timothée Chalamet treats fans with unexpected ‘Interstellar’ reunion
Timothée Chalamet reunites with his on screen father Matthew McConaughey
Timothée Chalamet is sending fans into a frenzy with his recent activities; however, what remained the highlight was the unexpected Interstellar reunion.
On Tuesday, December 10, the Dune star treated his Instagram followers to a photo dump, sharing highlights from his action-packed game day.
"A COMPLETE UNKNOWN CHRISTMAS DAY!!!" he captioned the carousel, a nod to his upcoming movie A Complete Unknown, biopic on Bob Dylan.
Among the snapshots, fans were excited to see Chalamet, 28, posing with Matthew McConaughey. But that wasn’t the only Interstellar reunion the American-French actor shared.
In another social media post that he shared over the weekend, Chalamet featured himself and his onscreen father from Interstellar, McConaughey, standing side by side.
"My movie dad Cooper," the Wonka star captioned the post, whose comments section was quickly flooded with emotional reactions from fans.
"The reunion of papa and son," one fan wrote.
"Cooper finally came home [red heart and bandage emoji]," another commented.
"A reunion for the ages," a third fan chimed in.
"Interstellar reunion during Interstellar’s 10-year anniversary in theatres… wow," a fourth fan noted.
Chalamet and McConaughey, 55, portrayed a father-son duo in Christopher Nolan's 2014 sci-fi masterpiece.
McConaughey starred as Cooper, a former NASA pilot who embarks on a mission to explore new planets for human habitation, leaving his family—including young Tom, played by Chalamet—behind on Earth.
