Jennifer Love Hewitt is making a shocking revelation about her 1997 iconic film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
The actress, who portrayed the ground-breaking role in the original, shared her stance on the reboot during an exclusive session on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Speaking exclusively on the subject on Tuesday, December 10, the 45-year-old noted, “I can’t say much, I’m not officially in it yet, but I’m close. Oh my gosh, there is 1997. That’s scary. But it’s going to be really good.”
Hewitt teased that there's a lot in store for fans, describing the 2025 reboot as 'really fun,' although she remained tight-lipped about the storyline.
In response to her claim, host Jennifer Hudson said, “They have an amazing young cast that’s in it. I’m hoping to come back as the ghost of '90s past, and we’ll see what happens.
“It won’t be the same without you.”
Based on Lois Duncan’s novel, the film adaptation garnered appreciation from fans, prompting filmmakers to continue the story with sequels I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.
