Hollywood’s highest paid singer Taylor Swift has just outpaced her ex-partner Harry Styles’ records with her latest tour.
Swift made history as she broke the record for the number of people attending her concerts in Scotland’s Murrayfield Stadium.
Earlier in May 2023, Styles performed a gig at the same location as part of his 'Love on Tour' show, where 65,000 attendees came in to watch him perform.
The former One Direction band member unlocked an achievement by setting the record as the 'highest-attended stadium concert', until his former girlfriend, Taylor came in to beat that record with her 'Eras Tour'.
In June 2024, the Blank Space singer was booked to sing for three nights at the stadium. On the first day, Swift drew around 73, 000 fans surpassing the As It Was singer’s chronicle.
The 34-year-old pop star’s achievement was shared online by the Murrayfield Stadium.
Taking it to their X handle, they wrote: "American superstar Taylor Swift broke Scottish concert attendance records at Scottish Gas Murrayfield this weekend."
"With a crowd of almost 73,000, night one overtook Harry Styles' concert attendance from last summer (65,000) to be the highest-attended stadium concert in Scottish history. Each subsequent night then broke the record for the night before.”
Taylor Swift has finally winded up her music tour that kickstarted in March, 2023.
