Amid his busy schedule ahead of the royal Christmas break, Prince William made a special gesture for a volunteer to express his gratitude.
The Prince of Wales rushed to Paris for an urgent event to represent King Charles just hours after Kate Middleton’s Christmas Carol concert concluded on Friday.
William attended the ceremonial reopening of Notre-Dame cathedral which was followed up by a meeting with US President-elect Donald Trump at the residence of the British ambassador in Paris.
The Kensington Palace had described the meeting between as “warm and friendly”.
On Sunday, the Palace shared heart-warming photos of the future king, who had stopped by a charity event in London on Thursday ahead of the urgent meeting.
“A pleasure to be back serving Christmas lunch at @passagecharity,” the message read alongside a carousel of photos.
“Thank you to Claudette and the incredible volunteers who dedicate their time to supporting those experiencing homelessness. The selflessness and compassion shown in creating a warm and welcoming space during the festive season makes a profound difference.”
During the event, the Prince was seen in high spirits as he chatted with the attendees as he lend a helping hand to volunteers.
