Nina Dobrev, who played the role of Elina Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries, expressed gratefulness to her costars, Candice King and Kat Graham, during a live show.
The actors marked their appearances at Epic Con’s I Was Feeling Festive convention, and reminisced their experiences during the entire shoot of the series.
They also ironically spoke about on-set accidents, with writer Carina MacKenzie.
Amid the discussions, the audiences started yelling: "Watch out!" as the temporary panels positioned behind them on stage began to topple.
Candice began shielding Nina by pushing her out of the way in effort to protect her. She also safeguarded herself, as the panel that had been situated behind her started to fall as well.
Kat humourously exclaimed, "Not today, not today!" She further asserted that she didn’t want to encounter any ‘Bonnie to the rescue memes’.
For the unknown, Bonnie Bennett is Kat’s character in The Vampire Diaries, while Candice played the character of Caroline.
Their fans also poured in their reactions following the incident as one shared the video and captioned: "After all these years, Caroline and Bonnie are still bailing Elena out."
Candice also joined in the fun, as she re-shared the clip and commented: "I’m dying WHAT A MORNING. Bonnie & Caroline have got your back, Elena."
The Vampire Diaries is an American mystical television series directed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The movie is based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith.
