'Vampire Diaries' fans lose it over epic trio reunion: 'Living for this'

Vampire Diaries fans were sent into a frenzy with an unexpected reunion.

On Friday, December 6, Nine Dobrev took to her Instagram as she reunited with her co-stars Candice King and Kat Graham at the I Was Feeling Festive 2 convention in Covington, Ga.

"We’re still just kids [white heart emoji]," Dobrev, 35, captioned the video, in which the three actresses can be seen posing together by the convention's stage, channelling a TikTok trend where they recreated a throwback photo.

"Helppppp, I wasn't ready!! [two heart eyes emojis]," one fan exclaimed.

"Absolutely love how you three arranged yourselves in the same order and are looking in the same direction of gaze as the original! Genius! @nina @candiceking @katgraham This moment is definitely frozen in time!" another gushed over.

"The iconic trio back together,” a third fan added with a string of heart eyes emoji.

"I LOVEEEE THIS LIVIN FOR THISSSS [teary eyes emoji]," a fourth remarked.

"Omg I am crying," a fifth fan chimed in with a crying emoji.

Dobrev, Graham, 35, and King, 37, first appeared together in The Vampire Diaries in 2009, playing Elena Gilbert, Bonnie Bennett and Caroline Forbes, respectively.

The series starring the three actresses wrapped in 2017 after eight seasons.
