Backstreet Boys tuned in to the Christmas holiday spirit with Kelly Clarkson and other performers at NBC’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast.
The iconic Rockefeller Center tree lit up on Wednesday night, December 4, with the boy band treating the audience with a rendition of The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You) by Nat King Cole.
The quintet were clad in coordinated festive apparel, adorned with a pop of red and green hue in their outfits, and plaid accessories.
Taking the stage at the much-awaited ceremony, Kelly Clarkson performed You for Christmas, from her 2021 holiday album When Christmas Comes Around.
"This time of year can be so hard/ Searching for blessings in the dark/ If Santa has one gift to bring us/ I’ll tell him I just want you for Christmas," she serenaded the chorus.
The songstress, returning to host the show and performing, braved the cold weather during the telecast with a furry black coat.
In addition to the Backstreet Boys and Clarkson, the stellar lineup of performers taking the stage at Rockefeller Christmas tree light-up ceremony include Coco Jones, Dan + Shay, Jennifer Hudson, Little Big Town, Megan Hilty, RAYE, Thalia and, of course, the Radio City Rockettes.
