Pete Davidson is being open about his earnings while he was on Saturday Night Live.

In a recent Instagram video for New York Magazine, the comedian and actor, who appeared on the NBC sketch comedy program from 2014 to 2022, revealed his "biggest indulgence" after receiving his first SNL pay cheque in addition to the amount he made for each episode.

“Do you guys know what they pay us? It’s like three grand an episode, so I think I got dinner!” Davidson said.

Davidson was well-known on Saturday Night Live for a number of iconic Weekend Update sketches, characters, and moments, such as Chad, Rap Roundtable, and Jasmine and Aladdin.

However, the Bupkis actor wasn’t the only SNL alum revealing what they brought with their first big paycheck. “I mean you don’t really make enough money to make big purchases,” Jason Sudeikis, former castmember and writer, admitted in the video. “So, I think New York rent was probably the biggest purchase I made after writing on SNL the first year.”

Additionally, Rachel Dratch spent her money on rent for her flat. James Austin Johnson, Sarah Sherman, Seth Meyers, and Cheri Oteri, among other SNL celebrities, revealed that they used their first cheque to purchase furnishings. relatable, isn't it?

“A couch,” Oteri said. “I have gotten it reupholstered three or four times. I remember a designer coming over in tears and he goes, ‘Oh, those arms are too high. We’re going to get rid of that couch.’ I said, ‘Oh no. No, you’re not. Not today, Satan! The couch is staying, you’re going.'”

Sarah Silverman, Bowen Yang, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus choose to live in luxury. "I purchased a pair of shoes that exceeded my budget," Louis-Dreyfus said. "I must admit, I believe they cost $75."

Yang added, “Going to Saks across the street buying a pair of Gucci shoes. The kind that everyone got, and the kind that I wouldn’t feel super cool wearing out now.”
