Madonna is reflecting on having a family to spend life with.
The queen of pop celebrated Thanksgiving surrounded by her loved ones, sharing a rare family photo featuring her six children and her 93-year-old father, Silvio Ciccone.
The music icon, 66, posted the heartwarming image on Instagram, showing her family gathered beneath a tree during their celebration in the Hamptons.
In the photo, Madonna sat next to her father, dressed in all-black with a fur hat and sunglasses, while her children—Lourdes Leon, 28, Rocco Ritchie, 24, David Banda, 19, Mercy James, 18, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere—stood around them in cozy fall attire.
“We are born into families and we create our own,” she captioned the post. “As time goes by I am more and more appreciative of these microcosms of life that Dance around me and teach me lessons every day.”
Madonna reflected on the challenging year her family has faced, including the loss of her brother Christopher Ciccone, who passed away from cancer at 63 in October, and her stepmother Joan, who died from the same illness a month earlier at 81.
“My father has endured with Dignity. Watching him cry in the cemetery when we buried my brother Christopher -right after he lost his wife. Was a moment I will never forget,” she wrote.
“Spending time with him and all my children on Thanksgiving was Medicine for the Soul.”
Madonna’s boyfriend, Akeem Morris, 28, was also part of the family gettogether.
The Material Girl singer shared photos of the couple enjoying time together, including one in the kitchen. For the evening festivities, Madonna swapped her outdoor look for a striking lace, corseted catsuit.
Madonna and Morris were first linked in July 2024 and have since shared special moments, including a family vacation earlier this year.
