Kaley Cuoco's toddler steals the show during her 39th birthday surprise
Kaley Cuoco’s fiancé Tom Pelphrey and their 20-month-old daughter, Matilda, prepared a special birthday wake-up call
Kaley Cuoco had a heartwarming start to her 39th birthday, thanks to her fiancé Tom Pelphrey and their daughter, Matilda.
Marking another trip around the sun on Saturday, November 30, the Big Bang Theory alum shared a glimpse of her special day on Instagram, featuring decorations, gifts, and an adorable moment when 20-month-old Matilda assumed the celebration was all about her.
In a sweet clip posted to Cuoco’s since-expired Stories, Matilda is seen wandering the living room clutching a balloon, as Pelphrey surprises Cuoco with plush toys, wrapped presents, and birthday cards.
"Sweetest east coast bday wakeup courtesy of @tommypelphrey," Cuoco captioned the post, adding, "Tildy thought it was all for her lol."
The couple, who got engaged in August, have embraced parenthood since welcoming Matilda in March 2023.
Their second Thanksgiving as a family saw Matilda dressed in turkey-themed overalls, which Cuoco shared on Instagram with a cheerful “Happy Thanksgiving.” The fun continued with their playful Halloween costumes in October, where Cuoco hilariously dressed as Pelphrey while Matilda stole the show as a rainbow unicorn.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cuoco humorously described motherhood, likening it to caring for a “drunk best friend.” “They’re crying, making messes, and you’re just trying to keep them alive,” she joked.
