'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' makers print script with '24-carat ink' for Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey to play double role in 'Sonic 3'
Jim Carrey’s 'golden' wish kind of turned true by Sonic the Hedgehog 3 makers.
Previously, the Mask actor specified that he wants a 'golden script' for his return to the big screen.
Keeping that in mind, director Jeff Fowler jokingly unveiled that they did try to fulfill his request by sending a special copy of script at the actor’s doorstep.
“We printed it out with 24-carat ink and delivered it to his doorstep.”
Fowler continued saying: “I mean, not only did he come back, he came back and did twice as much work.”
According to the 46-year-old filmmaker, Jim worked very hard for this new movie. he even helped designing the prosthetics made especially for him in the film.
Jeff told SFX magazine, “For him to create a whole new character within the world was certainly an exciting opportunity, and he just went all in.”
He further explained: “No detail was too small. He helped design the prosthetics and everything. Talking about things to wrap your head around, having made three films with Jim Carrey, that’s a real mindbender."
Sonic 3 is another sequel to the 2020 film consisting of the popular Sega characters.
The new entry is all set to hit theaters on December 20, with Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Idris Elba and Ben Schwartz doing the voiceovers.
