Bollywood star Salman Khan's co-star Dia Mirza made shocking claims about the fellow actor while reminiscing a timeworn shoot.
Dia, recently spoke about the time she signed Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, featuring the-58-year-old star.
During an interview, the 42-year-old expressed her admiration for him, stating she was a huge admirer of his work. she also confessed stealing looks at the superstar each day, during shoots.
The Alag actress remarked that the current gender equality within Bollywood was non-existent in the early 2000s, it was a male dominated industry but, the Sultan actor always stood out.
She reminisced, "I remember him being extremely protective and caring."
Citing a story, Miss Asia Pacific shared an experience from the filming of their hit song Chamke Choodi Khanke, shot in the vicinity of Jaipur.
She went on articulating, "Hundreds of people were following us. They were screaming and whistling, and it was quite a lot."
"Salman and I were sent in one car with security so that we'd be safe because the place we were shooting was very crowded. And I will never forget how he made sure that I was put into the car first," she told Connect Cine.
For the unversed, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge was directed by Pankaj Parashar and featured Salman Khan, Dia Mirza, Sushmita Sen, Rajpal Yadav, Inder Kumar, Arbaaz Khan.
