Priyanka Chopra's mother, Madhu Chopra, is reflecting on her decision to send the actress to a boarding school years ago.
During an exclusive interview with Rodrigo Canelas on the podcast Something Bigger Show, the physicist opened up about sending Priyanka to a boarding school at the age of seven.
She explained that it was after Madhu realized she needed to correct her daughter's behaviour, as she felt she was going wrong as a parent and that the White Tiger alum was mimicking her.
Recounting an instance from the past, the businesswoman confirmed that the Citadel actress was not 'mentally prepared' when she was first sent to the boarding school.
She told the podcast, “I don’t know; was I a mean mother? I still regret it. I still cry over it. It was very hard for me, too.”
Despite her tireless efforts as a mother, Madhu further went on to add, “So that is one regretful decision, but Priyanka turned out alright. She landed on her feet.”
The actress is currently staying at London alongside her beloved husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie.
On professional front, she is occupied with the shooting of her upcoming spy series Citadel.
