Shah Rukh Khan has recently revealed an exciting update about his upcoming project with his fans.
For the unknowns, the Dunki actor is set to lend his voice to the lead character Mufasa, in the Hindi edition of the new film Mufasa: The Lion King.
According to Hindustan Times, Walt Disney Studios India released a video on their official YouTube channel on November 27.
In the video clip, Shah Rukh was seen talking about his work experience and sharing how his life is similar to Mufasa's.
The King Khan said, "This story is about a certain king who got darkness instead of a grand legacy [Yeh kahaani hai ek aese raja ki jise virasat ki roshni nahi, tanhaiyo ki virasat mili."]
"But he had passion. With that passion, he rose from the ground to touch the sky. Many kings ruled the land, but he ruled the hearts of the people. He rose from his tough situation, a true king. This story sounds similar, right? But it's a story about Mufasa," the 59-year-old actor added.
The edited video also featured numerous scenes from the highly anticipated film.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh’s sons are also part of the film's Hindi voice cast, with Aryan Khan lending his voice to Simba and AbRam Khan voicing for young Mufasa.
The film is scheduled to release across theatres on December 20, 2024.
