King Charles made a solo public appearance as his beloved wife Queen Camilla's health deteriorated.
The monarch, who is the patron of the Royal Variety Charity, attended the annual Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday.
Upon his arrival, the King accepted beautiful flowers on behalf of the Queen. An eight-year-old presented a bouquet to His Majesty for the ailing Queen.
It is important to note that a few hours ago before the star-studded royal event, Buckingham Palace released a statement, sharing that Camilla will not be joining the King due to her health woes.
The Palace's spokesperson shared, "Following a recent chest infection, the Queen continues to experience some lingering post-viral symptoms, as a result of which doctors have advised that, after a busy week of engagements, Her Majesty should prioritize sufficient rest."
"With great regret, she has therefore withdrawn from attendance at tonight’s Royal Variety Performance."
For the unversed, the royal family has suffered due to a health crisis in the year 2024.
King Charles and Kate Middleton left the world in shock by announcing their cancer diagnosis at the start of the year. Recently, the Queen also stepped back from the official engagements due to her worsening health condition.
