Christina Aguilera has nothing but praise, love, and respect for Sabrina Carpenter after their recent performance together.
Just days after sharing the stage with the Espresso hitmaker during the latter’s Short n’ Sweet tour, Aguilera, 43, opened up to People about her growing bond with the 25-year-old pop sensation.
"I’ve grown such a special bond with Sabrina over the past few months and truly love seeing her kill it out there," she gushed.
The Genie in a Bottle chart-topper also lauded Carpenter’s professional approach to her tour, admiring the Please Please Please songstress’s ability to handle the intense demands of pop stardom.
"I have so much respect and love for what it takes to uphold the schedule, and the touring demands that pop star life comes with," Aguilera continued. "Her poise and composed stamina are always a pleasure to work with, and we always have so much fun together. It’s an easy connection."
Her comments came after she joined the Taste vocalist on stage at her recent tour stop in Los Angeles.
On Friday, November 15, the two blonde bombshells performed live at the Crypto.com Arena, treating the audience to surprise renditions of Aguilera’s hits Ain’t No Other Man and What A Girl Wants.
Though Aguilera has forged a special bond with Carpenter, the latter has been a longtime fan of Aguilera.
During their recent stage appearance, when Carpenter called her on the stage for the joint performance, she introduced Aguilera as "one of my biggest idols."
