Iconic star A.R Rahman's son Ameen bursted out defending his father after the ongoing rumours linking bassist Mohini Dey’s divorce to Rahman's split.
Taking to social media, the vocalist's son posed a collage image of baby and the singer, stating: "So what’s the difference? Other than age?"
"My father is a legend, not just for his incredible contributions, but for the values, respect, and love he has earned over the years. It’s disheartening to see false and baseless rumors being spread, he added.
Ameen went on requesting the netizens to avoid spreading the misleading information about their parents, as he added, “Let us all remember the importance of truth and respect when speaking about someone’s life and legacy."
"Please refrain from engaging in or spreading such misinformation. Let’s honor and preserve his dignity and the incredible impact he has had on all of us."
This comes after social media users speculated that some thing is brewing between the Roja vocalist and his bassist Mohini Dey.
For the unknown, Mohini publicly announced divorce, a day after singer's ex-wife Saira Banu confirmed her split with the 57-year-old.
A.R Rahman and Saira Banu's lawyer, officially announced their separation after 29 years of togetherness, mentioning 'significant emotional strain in their relationship.'
