Billie Eilish, who is currently on tour for the promotion of her latest album Hit Me Hard and Soft, marked another big achievement.
The 22-year-old singer has been named the Artist of the Year by Apple once again after being crowned Artist of the Year in 2019 before.
The Ocean Eyes songstress has won the award due to her “extraordinary impact throughout 2024.”
“From the moment we first heard Ocean Eyes nearly a decade ago, we've been fans and champions of Billie's work,” Rachel Newman, Apple Music's senior director of content and editorial said about Eilish.
“It's always special when a young artist can connect with so many people so quickly. But what's been truly remarkable about watching her evolve over the course of this last year isn't just that her voice and artistry have continued to resonate so widely.”
“It's that she's blossomed as bravely and honestly as she has — on her own terms, in her own way,” she added.
This comes after the Lunch hitmaker has won an Academy Award and seven Grammy nominations this year.
The Grammy-winning singer also made headlines for performing her hit track Birds of a Feather at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
