Miley Cyrus reveals she wanted to remake Nicolas Cage’s THIS movie
Miley Cyrus admits she would like to play Nicolas Cage
Miley Cyrus has recently confessed she wanted to remake Nicolas Cage’s thriller Mandy into a movie musical.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, the Flowers hit-maker said, “I wanted to play Nicolas Cage.”
Miley told the outlet, “I love that it’s a romance revenge story. Romance and revenge — those are some of the greatest tragedies.”
“I forever and always will be interested in those,” stated the Hannah Montana actress.
Other reason Miley shared Mandy is one of her favourite movies which is why she has also named one of her dogs after the title character.
The singer opened up that she reached out to Panos Cosmatos, though the remake never happened.
However, Miley and Panos ended up working together on her upcoming new album.
Reflecting on her new album, the songstress pointed out, “It was inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall.”
“My idea was making The Wall, but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture,” remarked the 31-year-old.
Miley further said, “It’s a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.”
“I would like to be a human psychedelic for people. I don’t want anyone trying to be like me or imitate me or even be inspired by me,” mentioned the actress and singer.
Miley added, “I want to impact frequencies in your body that make you vibrate at a different level.”
