Katharine McPhee couldn’t be more happy for Erin Foster.
Katharine is full of pride for her family’s accomplishments. The American Idol alum, who has been married to music producer David Foster since 2019, recently celebrated the success of her stepdaughters Sara and Erin Foster.
At the 2024 CMA Awards on Nov. 20, held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Katharine shared her excitement about Erin’s hit Netflix series, Nobody Wants This.
“I loved it,” she told E! News. “I’ve been so excited for Sara and Erin.”
She continued to praise Erin, 42, for her creative achievements.
“Erin creating the show and having her name all over the titles of the show, it's been incredible to see them have so much success,” she said.
Katharine also expressed excitement for the series’ future, as it was confirmed in October that the Kristen Bell and Adam Brody-led show will return for a second season.
Family remains a priority for the Smash star, who also gave a glimpse into life with her and David’s 3-year-old son Rennie.
According to Katharine, Rennie has developed a new fascination, “He is into everything superhero.”
But amidst his superhero craze, Rennie remains a mama’s boy. “He's obsessed with his mom,” Katharine said with a smile. “Which I’ll take.”
