Genesis Rodriguez is eyeing a big role in OTT platform’s spy thriller, The Night Agent.
As soon as Netflix signaled the third installment of one of it’s popular shows, which stars Gabriel Basso as a low-level FBI agent, Rodriguez name is circulating to star alongside.
The actress is set to be a regular on the espionage drama, which is set to begin filming soon in Istanbul and continue in New York early next year.
As of yet, details on her role are being kept under cover.
Meanwhile, the season two of The Night Agent will drop by January 23. The second installment follows Peter Sutherland’s journey as night agent. This new role thrusts him into a perilous world of non-stop danger and uncertainty.
Notably, the actress for the work front is starring in season two of another spy thriller, Lioness, at Paramount+.
Her work ethics also include Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy and Neon, feature films Identity Thief and Run All Night and voicework on Big Hero 6 and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
The Night Agent is created and run by Shawn Ryan, based on Matthew Quirk's novel. The show is produced by Sony Pictures TV.
