Princess Anne has once again earned the title of the hardest-working royal, completing an impressive 217 engagements in 2024, according to a new study.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Princess Royal has topped the rankings, showcasing her unwavering dedication to royal duties.
Her performance comes amid a challenging year for her brother, King Charles, who faced a cancer diagnosis at the start of 2024.
As he underwent treatment, other family members, including Anne, stepped up to support royal commitments.
Anne's workload saw a 2.4% increase from the previous year, when she completed 212 engagements.
Notably, November was her busiest month, with 28 engagements.
Despite his ongoing health challenges, King Charles took second place with a remarkable 186 engagements.
This year’s findings were compiled by SEO agency Reboot Online, which tracked royal activities using the Royal Court Circular, covering engagements from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
In a year marked by royal shifts, King Charles saw a 5.6% decrease in his engagements, completing 186 in 2024 compared to 197 the previous year.
October was his busiest month, with 26 engagements, but December is expected to be his quietest, with only one official event scheduled so far—though more may be added as the year progresses.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Gloucester, Prince Richard, made a notable rise in the ranks, claiming third place with 126 engagements, an impressive 11.5% increase from 2023.
September was his busiest month, with 15 engagements, four more than his wife Birgitte.
