Madonna has recently expressed her frustration after struggling with “producers and agents” for days wanting to “downsize” her highly anticipated biopic.
On November 18, the pop icon took to Instagram and shared major update about her biopic and even asked fans for their help on what medium she should opt in the caption.
“After struggling for days in LA, listening to producers and agents tell me why I couldn't make my film,” wrote the 66-year-old.
Madonna said, “I realised that everything in my life is going to be challenged. No easy rides for me. I guess I should be grateful.”
“It forces me to think outside the box. I did not have a normal life,” continued the songstress.
Madonna dished, “I cannot make this in the normal way.”
The musician revealed that some of the producers told her to do the movie on a “smaller scale” which she’s not interested at all.
She explained, “Spending time with my creative friends was just the fuel I needed to keep going! We all agreed that we need to be even more fearless!!!”
“We cannot shrink and make ourselves smaller. If you want something badly enough in life— the whole universe will conspire to you get it,” noted the Material Girl crooner.
In the end, Madonna asked question to her fans about the biopic.
“Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature Film,” stated the songstress.
After the post, fans shared their thoughts in the comment section with one remarked, “The length of a movie would be a little unfair to tell and show how interesting your personal and artistic life has been. So, a Series would be ideal.”
“If we're not doing lord of the rings style trilogy then I think series would be best!” another mentioned.
A third user wrote, “A series would have more potential for depth, and would be totally binge-worthy!”
“Series! 2 hours feature wouldn’t be enough for 4 decades. Maybe a Netflix series. It’s gonna be HUGE!” added another user
