ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Lt-Gen (retired) Abdul Majeed Malik has died here late on Friday.
He was suffering from heart ailment.
The funeral prayers of Abdul Majeed will be offered in Jand Awan, Chakwal at 3:00 p.m today.
Abdul Majeed had been elected member National Assembly five times from 1985 to 1999 and also served as federal minister in different departments in the tenures of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 1990 and 1997.
