Rosé, one of the four members of BLACKPINK, has achieved a major milestone, joining BTS’s Jungkook in a rare category.
According to Forbes, the 27-year-old singer has entered the Adult Pop Airplay chart with her latest single, APT, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, making her the second K-pop soloist to ever reach this achievement.
Previously, Jungkook was the ‘only’ K-pop artist to make it onto the Adult Pop Airplay chart. Now, Rosé joins him as the second K-pop soloist to accomplish this feat.
Apt. debuts at No. 39 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart this week, securing a spot near the bottom of the ranking but still marking a significant achievement in Rose's solo career.
The chart tracks the most-played songs on adult pop radio stations, reaching a broad audience.
Meanwhile, Jungkook, 27, first made his mark on the Adult Pop Airplay chart last year.
His breakout hit Seven, a collaboration with rapper Latto, debuted in July and climbed to No. 19.
Later in the year, he teamed up with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee on Too Much, which peaked at No. 22.
With her entry on the chart, Rosé now stands alongside Jungkook as one of the two K-pop soloists to add this feather to their caps.
