Sabrina Carpenter's recent 'bold' performance in LA sparks controversy

Sabrina Carpenter recently faced backlash following her musical performance in Los Angeles.

On November 15, the Please Please Please hitmaker performed live at LA's Crypto.com Arena as part of her ongoing fifth concert tour, Short n’ Sweet.

As videos of the concert went viral on social media, many fans criticised the renowned singer for allegedly showcasing bold acts during her shows.

Several fans specifically dubbed her performance at the outro session of her popular track Bed Chem 'bold' during a recent show in the City of Angeles.

At the end of the concert, Carpenter typically performed her signature rendition of the song Bed Chem by herself.

During this segment, she was joined by a man behind the curtains on a bed, while the audience cheered the shadows of the pair as they were seen removing clothes and engaging in intimate gestures.

As clips of this particular scene gained popularity on social media, many fans took to their X accounts to voice their disapproval of the singer.

One X user commented, "She ain’t meant for kids her Disney days are over."

"This is just disgusting. Her fans are 13 and above but she like this adds to the exposed c**p that they’ve seen especially since it’s someone they look up to," another fan chimed in.

Despite the backlash from some users, many defended Carpenter for tirelessly performing in numerous cities of the USA.

Several celebrities showed their support for Carpenter by attending her concerts in LA, including Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Devon Lee Carlson, and others.

It is important to mention that Taste singer is currently touring her fifth concert Short n' Sweet in the United States of America.

Reportedly, Carpenter will next perform at Kia Forum in Inglewood California on November 18, 2024.
