Charli XCX mimics Victoria Beckham in ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit
Charli XCX pokes fun at Victoria Beckham in ‘Saturday Night Live’ appearance
Charli XCX is staying 'Brat' even after the summer is over as she performs a hilarious skit mimicking Victoria Beckham at Saturday Night Live.
The 32-year-old popstar hosted SNL on November 16th where she transformed into Posh Spice for a funny skit which brought many ‘IT girls’ together.
Charli’s rendition of the fashion mogul went viral, which was centred around a Thanksgiving dinner attended by Victoria and other A-lister celebrities.
The other famous figures included Marc Jacobs, played by Bowen Yang, Julia Fox, played by Chloe Fineman, Naomi Campbell who was played by Ego Nwodim and Rachel Sennott, who was played by Sarah Sherman.
Mary Kate, Ashley Olsen, Cher, and Law Roach also joined the Brat singer in the hilarious dinner, played by Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline, Heidi Gardner and Kenan Thompson, respectively.
The skit began with a revised mythical story of Thanksgiving, saying, “When the Pilgrims arrived in the new world, they were starved alone. They knew nothing of Americans and were feasting on turkey, Celsius and hamachi crudo.”
“Then, the party got so lit that they let everyone in, even the YouTubers and Zach Brown.”
As the actress playing Cher attempted to cook gravy, she ended up turning it into something else with the accidental addition of Sprite, and somewhere along the dinner turned into a fashion show.
Staying in character, Charli, as Victoria, looked into the camera and said, “Pilgrims and indigenous. Honestly the best collab since me and David.”
