Rohit Shetty is getting candid about his son's future plans as he reflects on Vicky Kaushal's acting career.
During an exclusive interview with Mukesh Chhabra on Mashable India, the Singham director and co-producer hinted at his plans to work with the Raazi actor in the near future.
Hailing Vicky's versatility and journey, Shetty pointed out his dedication to have it all after being cast in small roles.
The Race director reflected on Kaushal's format as he discussed his son's career plans.
He told the outlet, "If my son wants to debut as an actor it won’t be a Rohit Shetty film. I’ll leave him to explore web-shows, smaller roles and once you get the acceptance from audience then come in the films. That’s what Vicky’s journey has been."
In addition, he also heaped on praises for the actor's sudden growth as he made his place in the industry.
Lauding Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt's journey, Shetty emphasized their place in a female lot of new generation actors.
His son Ishaan Shetty is currently studying at the Central Film School in London since 2023.
