Arjun Kapoor was reduced to tears after his father Boney Kapoor heaped on praises for his work in Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again.
The Ishaqzaade actor, who captivated audiences with his mind-blowing performance in the action flick, expressed his thoughts on making his father proud as he marked another personal milestone.
During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Arjun was taken by surprise with his father’s praise highlighting the actor’s growth as he went on to say, “Your journey has been absolutely fantastic with ups and downs. Keep up the good work, and after watching you in Singham Again, I feel you have a very, very great innings coming soon in your life with the kind of job that you've done."
The producer further added, "So, I congratulate you on the success. I congratulate the entire team on the success, and I'm proud of you all over again. I'm saying this. You're the best son I could have asked for. It's good that you maintained yourself. I like the way you're looking now. Maintain this and all the best for future.”
Arjun couldn’t just contain the excitement within as he responded to his father’s praise in the sweetest way possible.
The 39-year-old said, “Thank you dad. Thank you for being exactly how I would expect every father to be—the best cheerleader possible. I can sense the relief in his voice also."
He later shared the heartwarming moment on his Instagram on Boney’s birthday, alongside a caption that read, “Living for moments like these!
“Nothing feels better than making you proud Dad, and celebrating this moment on your birthday makes it even more special. Glad I could make you happy on your birthday with my work.”
