Rohit Shetty hails Ajay Devgn's 'Singham' as historic launch of Cop Universe

Rohit Shetty is heaping on praises for Ajay Devgn’s Singham as he referred to it as the ‘boss’ of Shiva squad.

During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the Race director opened up about the Cop Universe’s future, describing the formation of the squad in Singham Again.

Rohit went on to add, “If you see the film, it's like the squad has come up now and Singham is the main boss of the squad and these are the officers now, and then the journey will go ahead. So it's basically the introduction of what's coming in the future."

The film, which was released on Diwali 2024, surpassed the Rs. 150 crore milestone in the first five days of its release, striking gold at the domestic box office.

Singham Again features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone.

For the unversed, the Rohit Shetty-starrer was released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali on November 1.
