Jennifer Lopez ready for new beginnings after Ben Affleck split: report

Jennifer Lopez’s close friends seemingly want her to settle down after a challenging phase of her life.

An insider revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the Marry Me star's pals and family members urged the singer to settle down after her difficult two-year marriage to now-estranged husband Ben Affleck.

The tipster commented, "Jen’s friends and family want to see her get out there again and finally get her happily ever after."

Furthermore, the source claimed that the Air director has also decided to move on in life.

The insider added, "Ben has other priorities that are more important…but he’s open to [dating]."

Another source revealed to People magazine that the former couple still have feelings for each other and they wish to remain friends despite their bitter past.

The tipster remarked, "They two still have a lot of love for each other and are committed to staying friendly."

It is important to note that these comments came after Ben made delightful remarks about Jennifer during his first in-depth interview since their separation.

He lauded his former wife's "spectacular" performance in their upcoming movie, Unstoppable. 

For the unversed, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben in August 2024.
