Harry Styles and Paul Mescal fans are seemingly inspired by Timothée Chalamet’s fans as they hatch plans for a lookalike contest for their favourite actor.

In a viral post circulating on social media, flyers for an upcoming lookalike contest for the As It Was hitmaker and Normal People star has piqued the public's interest.

The post comes after Chalamet made a surprise appearance at the lookalike contest, organised by his fans, in New York earlier in October. The Dune star ended up presenting the trophy to the winner, Miles Mitchell.

Since the contest, fans of Styles and Mescal are hoping to arrange something similar in hopes of meeting the beloved performers.

A post on Instagram read, "#HarryStyles lookalike contest in London this Saturday! Be there or be square! Send this to someone who should enter. 1pm, 9th November, Soho Square."

People hilariously reacted to the news as one wrote, “Trying to copy NYC in hopes that Harry, like Timmy C, will also show up lolol.”

While another declared it as a "genius" idea and one quipped, "Hahahaha stop (I’ll be there)"

Meanwhile, the announcement for Mescal's competition came from an Irish digital lifestyle and culture brand, Lovin Dublin.

The official account revealed, “In today's silly news, there will be a Paul Mescal lookalike competition held in Smithfield Square this Thursday November 7 at 1pm.”

"The grand prize of either 3 pints or €20.so here's hoping he takes a page from Timothée Chalamet's book and shows up at the event," the page continued.

November 7th is also the day when Gladiators II will premiere in Dublin, Ireland.

The Light House cinema, where the Irish premiere is being held announced they would be closed for the event, but one person joked, "Real ones know it's closed for the Paul Mescal lookalike competition."

Both the celebrity artist have not commented on the events.
