Chris Hemsworth, known for his dedication to fitness and acting, has opened up about his personal struggles with health and balance.
The 41-year-old actor has made significant lifestyle changes after facing the physical toll of his demanding career.
Earlier this year, Hemsworth revealed he carries genes associated with a higher risk of Alzheimer's, making him "eight to 10 times more likely" to develop the disease.
This wake-up call prompted him to reassess his priorities, focusing on family and health.
Hemsworth has now embraced regenerative treatments, working with Dr Adeel Khan, a pioneer in the field. He recently visited Dr Khan's Eterna clinic, expressing gratitude for the expert's innovative approach using MUSE cells to repair damaged tissue.
"Really enjoyed meeting Dr. Khan," Hemsworth captioned an Instagram post, showcasing his laid-back style and genuine appreciation.
This new chapter in Hemsworth's life began after filming 'Limitless,' where he confronted the harsh realities of his genetic predisposition. He shared with 'Body + Soul,' "The imagined scenario is always worse than the reality," reflecting on how this revelation shifted his perspective.
Now filming Crime 101 alongside Mark Ruffalo, Hemsworth balances work with self-care and quality time with loved ones. He's adopted a refreshed mindset, prioritizing sustainability over intensity in his fitness routine.
"I used to have the mentality that if I'm not crawling out of the gym, I haven't worked hard enough," he admitted, recognizing the flaws in his previous approach. "I was always giving an extra 20 percent of my time," often leading to diminishing returns.
Hemsworth now cherishes moments with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their children in Australia, enjoying activities like surfing and horseback riding.
