Bowen Yang seems sorry for getting too much into the intimate moment he shared with Ariana Grande during a skit on Saturday Night Live.
Yang apologised to his Wicked co-star Grande for kissing her “too much” when they collaborated on a skit while she hosted the show on Oct. 12.
“I really have to apologise to you in person,” the 34-year-old actor said to the 31-year-old Grande on Wednesday’s episode of his Las Culturistas podcast. “I opened up my mouth too much when we kissed on SNL.”
“You absolutely did. I was shaking after,” she replied. “Not in a bad way. Just in a disarming way.”
Yang apologised to the popstar once again, but Grande told him she had no ill feelings about the passionate moment.
“We were dropped in. It felt like what these people needed at that time,” she noted. “It felt like what these characters required. And I’m all for it.”
In a recent Saturday Night Live sketch, Bowen Yang took on the role of the pop star’s son’s boyfriend.
In a comedic twist, the pop star praised Yang’s character for being a protective influence in her son’s life. The scene wrapped up with the two sharing a dramatic, intimate kiss.
