Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande have maintained a close bond, even after their hit Nickelodeon show ended in 2013.
In an exclusive interview with People, she shed light on how the two remained best friends over the past decade after spending three years on Victorious.
"We make a real effort to see each other," she said. "We laugh, we reminisce, and we make new memories."
The 31-year-old actress continued, explaining that to maintain childhood friendships for the long term, new memories need to be created together.
"Otherwise, you're just reminiscing about the past and getting together once a year."
She shared that she still hangs out with the Supernatural singer to this day, and they are always on the go to create new experiences together.
The duo have not only maintained their relationship but have also supported each other throughout their personal and professional lives.
The Dynasty actress couldn’t be more proud of Ariana’s new role as Glinda in the upcoming movie Wicked.
"I know how much this project means to her. When I met her at 13 or 14 years old, Wicked was her show, and Glinda was her girl," she shared with People.
She added how the Sam & Cat star prepared for the audition because she truly wanted the role. "It is so incredibly well-earned."
