Cardi B, American rapper and songwriter, recently drew heavy criticism after posting a video on her Instagram where she shared opinions on politics.
Shortly after receiving backlash, the 32-year-old singer decided to delete the clip, sparking massive debate among people.
In the video, (now deleted) Cardi took a step to share her thoughts on the US election as she praised Kamala Harris, saying: "I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her."
She continued, "Women around the world are proud of her. Women of colour are proud of her."
While making a vedio, the singer shared, "We need a Hail Mary."
She added, "This is why some of y'all states be getting hurricanes, that's all Imma say."
The quick decision of removing the video turned into a nightmare for her as she began receiving hatred from those who had different opinions, while some of her fans still supported her.
She went on saying, "I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her," she said. "Women around the world are proud of her. Women of colour are proud of her."
She expressed her disappointment, "I hate yall bad (sic)."
However, Cardi stayed quiet and did not respond directly to the harsh criticism, leaving people curious about her true reasons for deleting the viral video.
