David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, made a rare comment about Prince Harry and Meghan amid ongoing feud rumours.
The Beckhams share a close association with the royal family and David recently became the ambassador for The King’s Foundation.
The former footballer and the Duke of Sussex shared a particularly close friendship, but had a fallout after the Sussexes accused the Beckhams of “leaking stories”, per royal expert Tom Bower.
Brooklyn appeared on the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live!, where host Andy Cohen asked a question about his connections to the royals.
“Growing up, which members of the royal family did you see the most often, especially since your family is friends with Harry and Meghan?” Cohen asked on behalf of a fan he identified as Jennifer B.
In response, the 25-year-old responded, “Probably William”, referencing the Prince of Wales. Cohen followed up asking what the future king is like.
“He’s just like the sweetest guy ever. He really is. He's really down to earth. He's really [a] good guy,” Brooklyn said.
The comment comes as a first amid long-standing speculation his famous parents have officially cut ties with Prince Harry and Meghan.
The rift reportedly dates back to 2018 after Meghan accused Victoria of leaking private information to the press about her and Prince Harry.
Moreover, Bower also stated that the friction between the two couples happened as Meghan grew jealous of Victoria’s fame.
