Cardi B tears up over Donald Trump's 'unforgettable' presidential win
Cardi B shares 'emotional' reflections on Donald Trump's Presidential win in deleted post
Cardi B is mourning the defeat of Kamala Harris in an emotional update after Donald Trump dramatically seized control of the US election.
The Bodak Yellow rapper announced that she was ‘super’ proud of Harris for taking lead in major states, including California and Colorado.
The 32-year-old took to her Instagram to respond to Trump’s followers who flooded her comments section with hateful comments.
During an exclusive Live session, the Grammy-winning artist ranted in response to a comment that read, “Cardi we need you at the Trump inauguration.”
She exclaimed, “I swear to god I'm gonna f*** you up, get away from me! I'm sick of you! Burn you're f***ing hats motherf****r. I'm really sad. I swear to god I'm really sad.”
The mom-of-three, speaking highly of the political candidate, empathized with her defeat, having apparently faced a similar loss to a Republican rival herself.
Cardi shared words of motivation to Harris as she went on to add, “No matter what, I know that she's probably emotional right now. I know there's probably a lot going on in her mind and I know she's not listening to this, but she will eventually see it.
“I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women around the world are proud of her. Women of colour are proud of her.”
In addition, the rapper shared how Harris changed her perspective on voting. She also expressed optimism, hoping for the best.
Despite Trump's victory, she declared her love and admiration for Kamala will never fade.
