Victoria Beckham was honoured with the award of Harper’s Bazaar’s Entrepreneur of The Year for her success in the fashion industry.
However, the award was made even more special because her youngest daughter Harper, 13, was called upon to present the honour to her mother.
The award celebrated the former Spice Girl member’s “innovation and dedication to the British and global fashion industry” presented on Tuesday, November 5th, at Claridge Hotel, London.
Sharing the sweet family moment on stage, Victoria, 50, told her daughter, “I am so, so proud of you.”
“I mean getting up on stage in front of a room full of people is scary and you did it with such poise and such elegance.”
The fashion icon donned an ivory silk trouser suit for the glamourous occasion, while Harper sported an elegant silk dress of similar hues.
During the interview ahead of the ceremony, Victoria revealed her retirement plans to Harper’s Bazaar as she turns 50, admitting that she will be passing the baton to her daughter Harper.
The mom of four shared that fame used to be fun in the beginning but her priorities have shifted as she ages.
“I've been doing this too long. I suppose I did when I was growing up but, nowadays, there's just too much going on; too busy; too many kids to worry about. I woke up at 50, and I gave a s--- less.”
This comes after it was reported that Victoria and David Beckham have planned to launch daughter Harper into the industry with a secret multi-million pound career.
