Freddie Prinze Jr. has recently shared how he kept his 22-year-relationship with Sarah Michelle Gellar away from spotlight.
Speaking on the latest episode of Brian Austin Green’s Oldish podcast, the Scooby-Doo actor said, “That's by choice. You can control it to a certain degree,” while talking about privacy.
When the host asked, “How intentional do you have to be to do that?”
To which Freddie replied, “I don't know how deliberate [others] are in trying to avoid that BS.”
“I know how easy it's been for us because I don't go anywhere,” he continued.
The She’s All That actor explained, “I don't go to parties. People don't see Sarah and I out and about at the popular places.”
“We have our restaurants that we like, and they're not super trendy in places where paparazzi hang out. So, we're good at avoiding it,” mentioned Freddie.
The Summer Catch actor noted, “Avoiding the limelight is not that hard if you really want to.”
Freddie opened up that there are times when paparazzi would wait at the bottom of his and Sarah’s street, so they wait for more famous people on their block to leave first.
The actor stated, “They'll go follow [Arnold] Schwarzenegger and leave me alone.”
“There's no secret to it, and it wasn't hard. We just don't like that life,” he added.
