Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage is coming to an end, but the divorce process is proving to be a lengthy and complicated one.
After two tumultuous years together, Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles three months ago, but the separation of their vast assets has slowed down the proceedings.
The absence of a prenuptial agreement has added complexity to the divorce, and sources suggest that the couple's lingering attraction to each other isn't helping.
Despite Affleck moving into his new "bachelor pad" in August, Lopez seems hesitant to leave their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion.
Recent Instagram posts from Lopez show her wearing Dior in what appears to be the doorway of their shared home, sparking confusion among fans.
Although she also shared photos of herself boarding a private jet, it seems Lopez is still residing in the mansion, which remains unsold.
This development comes amid reports that Lopez is still deeply invested in Affleck's life.
An insider revealed to In Touch Weekly, "She has Google Alerts set up for Ben... It's beyond unhealthy."
The source continued, "Any time she sees their mutual friends, she steers the conversation to Ben... She often finds excuses to swing by his house, dropping off items just to linger and see what he's up to. And any time she talks to Matt Damon, it's always about Ben."
It appears Lopez is struggling to move on from the relationship, making the divorce process even more challenging.
