Taye Diggs recalled his time filming 1999's The Best Man.
The 51-year-old actor fondly reflected on his experience filming the 1999 classic The Best Man, which he starred in alongside Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Terrence Howard, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa, and Regina Hall.
The beloved cast reunited in 2013 for the sequel, The Best Man Holiday, bringing back cherished memories from the original film.
Speaking to People about his recent collaboration with Lysol Air Sanitizer, Diggs shared that the film, now celebrating its 25th anniversary, holds a special place in his heart.
“Some things as simple as certain rehearsals where we all were just laughing mean so much. And it was a different time when we all felt really free, no stress, and being allowed to just work without worry,” he told the outlet.
“Well, I'm old enough now to say it was a great time and I think we took it for granted. They make movies differently now, and I'm so happy that we were a part of that time and that movie meant so much to so many people."
“I'm very proud. I'm very proud of it,” he said.
