Ada Nicodemou, best known for her role as Leah Patterson in Australia’s popular drama Home and Away, shared a health update that comforted fans.
In a recent post, the 47-year-old actress revealed her health journey, saying that she injured a disc in her spine in 2023 while sneezing as she did not go into further details.
Sharing the post, the actress wrote, "I had to come to terms with the fact I couldn't push my body the way I used to. It was a wake-up call, physically and emotionally."
She got candid about doing exercises in a fun way like never before, realizing that she should maintain a balance between too much exercise and not pushing herself to the extreme.
Nicodemou explained that after hurting her disc, she got a strong grip on things and realized that "health is about more than just looks."
"Now, I focus on what makes me feel good: pilates, walks, light weight training, and a more balanced approach," she said. "Instead of chasing a perfect body, I'm being kind to myself and listening to what my body needs," she added.
Ada also explained the importance of good health and asked people to stop copying others and instead focus on a health routine that can help them stay healthy and refreshed.
