Vidya Balan has finally shared about losing massive weight without intense workout routines.
Rather, Balan revealed that it was not 'fat' that was the problem, but it was 'inflammation' that ballooned up her body.
While talking to Galatta Plus, the Parineeta actress unveiled that she was working hard on her body by doing diets and crazy exercises, yet the weight would come back again and again.
This is when she decided to visit a nutritionist, who said: “It is just inflammation; it is not fat.”
“So, they put me on a diet to get rid of the inflammation, elimination of inflammation it is called, and it worked beautifully for me and the weight went like that because they eliminated foods that were not suiting me", she stated.
The Indian actress explained that sometimes you think that vegetables are good, but that is not the case every time. She admitted being a vegetarian all her life, yet the dietitian told her that 'spinach' and 'bottle gourd' were not suiting her.
As per Vidya, this is the first year she had not worked out all year. All she focused on was eating what’s right.
Balan, 45, admitted being a gym beast. Last year, the Kahaani actress was asked to ‘stop working out’ despite being extremely fat.
Today when people ask her what she did to lose weight, the only answer she gives to people is: “No, I don't do anything. I am just enjoying myself and I am feeling healthier than ever. I am not saying you should not exercise... but remember no two people are the same... we must respect our individuality."
Work wise, Vidya Balan just made her comeback to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise.
