Kartik Aaryan is making a bold confession as he reflects on his acting career.
During an exclusive interview with IndianExpress.com, the actor, known for his diverse roles, opened up about his career, saying he had to forge his own path.
Confirming that nothing has been handed to him in a platter, he said, “No one got me a Rs 500 crore director."
“There is mathematics behind it. Like what is the team, what was their last film, what is their next, who is the audience coming to see? Is it the biggest date of the year, are there many holidays in the run?
"There are several calculations, which you as well as the industry is looking at. When these things are well calculated, you don’t take the pressure of it.”
In addition, he also admitted to starting his career afresh without the support of any experienced director in the industry.
The Dhamaka actor expressed concern regarding his growth as an actor, given that he hasn't really been particularly fortunate.
He didn't hesitate to highlight his strengths, providing a glimpse into his growth potential.
Aryan couldn't help but express gratitude to his fans who have been cheering on for him since his debut.
On professional front, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 alongside Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
