Uma Thurman has recently revealed her movie Batman & Robin is for “children”.

Durin an appearance on Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Uma shared her views on 1997 movie.

Kelly told Uma, “My kids are obsessed with Batman & Robin. They love Poison Ivy.”

To which, Uma replied, “It's the one that was actually made for children.”

Uma believed that Batman & Robin is “tonally much lighter” than Matt Reeves' and Christopher Nolan's Batman movies.

The actress recalled that the movie acquired PG-13 rating prior its release and claimed that it was designed as “children's entertainment”.

Uma believed that Batman & Robin was a far less gruesome movie, but it focused more on sexual provocation.

After three decades, viewers still confused by costume designer Jose Fernandez's decision to use explicit elements for various costumes.

“I wasn't thrilled with the nipples on the batsuit,” said George Clooney while speaking to Rolling Stone in 2014.

George told the outlet, “You know that's not something you really think about when you're putting it on... Batman was just constantly cold I guess.”

Elsewhere on the show, Kelly Clarkson brought up Batman & Robin during a Halloween-inspired discussion about Uma's various cinematic costumes, from Kill Bill's The Bride to Batman & Robin's Poison Ivy.

The actress recalled donning the sleek Poison Ivy jumpsuit as “really difficult actually. Because it was all rubber, and we had to pull it on, like imagine the worst pair of airplane tension hose you ever got into in your life”.

“It was the original, the meanest sort of Spanx imaginable. But it was fun and creative!” she added.
