Kajol is sharing her thoughts on social media as she reflects on handling online trolling during her respective career.
During an exclusive interview with India Express, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress opened up about handling criticism as public figures.
Reflecting on her decision to join social media just six years ago, she explained, “I am thankful that I lived a whole life without social media.”
The actress, who is known for portraying diverse roles in multiple films, said that people overlook the efforts behind their stardom.
In addition, she also opened up about pretending to have a perfect life on social media, one that doesn't reflect reality.
She said, "When people love you so much, they also feel they have the right to hate you that much. So, I won’t say that they are right, but as public figures, we have to deal with that.”
Although the 50-year-old is getting roped into sharing more of her candid posts, she still finds it hard to wrap her head around the concept of sharing every minor detail on the platform.
On professional front, Kajol is gearing up for her upcoming mystery-thriller film Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh.
